If you live in the Puget Sound area of Washington State: Call or email me and we arrange a time for you to come to my studio for the first phase...The Sitting. (In some cases I am even willing to come to you.) While we chat for a couple of hours I paint! I also take a couple of photos for reference to do the finish work. You go back to your life and I go back to my easel and when I consider the FACE complete I contact you and arrange a date for the next phase...The Photo Op. We meet, you pose, I snap my camera and Voila! We have a new FACE addition to the project.
If you live outside my area: Yes! You can have a FACE painting too! Email or snail mail me several head shot photos and I can work from those. Images must be clear and preferably not photographed with a flash. Natural lighting is best with both light and shadow cast upon the face. This makes for a MUCH more interesting FACE…believe me! Unfortunately due to distance I cannot do the Photo Op part of this process (unless you fly me to you all expenses paid!). But you can re-enact it on your own with the help of a friend and a camera!
Two options to owning a FACE:
12”x12” original oil portrait on board . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $500
12”x12” giclee print on archival watercolor paper . . . . . $175
*Both options include image of the FACE painting and the Photo Op (if within distance of my studio)
Why own a FACE painting? Why not?!?!? Besides the obvious reason of just plain fun (and we need a steady supply of that in our current world) you can create all sorts of whimsical images for your own use. Christmas cards, birthday announcements, business card images, Facebook profile pics...you get the idea! Your imagination and sense of humor are the tools to use with your FACE! Or you can just hang it on your wall!
